What to expect on a ghost hunt?
Our Vigils typically last from 45 minutes to an hour, and then we like to change you (the Guest) to other areas. You are accompanied by a team member who always attends to you, which allows you to experience as much as possible.
Paranormal Eye Uk usually works in small groups on vigils, and a team member always accompanies you.
Our vigils consist of teamwork, which entails sitting quietly in rooms, calling out to the spirit world, and asking for responses from the other world; we also have other experiments, including Ouija boards, table tipping, glasswork, and more technical items, including spirit Boxes rem pods Mel meters and so much more.
All our guests can ask any questions to the spirit world during a vigil, and we do encourage this. We also have a Spiritual Medium on all our ghost hunts, which will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
The more energy we can obtain between the groups, the better, as this helps us connect with the spirits of the location.
Please note that alcohol is not permitted before or during the investigation.
You are welcome to bring cameras and any other equipment. You can get involved as much or as little as you want to, and you don't have to do any experiments that you are not comfortable with.
We use traditional methods of Communication such as Seances, watch and wait, and Glass Divination and Table Tipping; you will be shown how to use several scientific instruments, such as K2 Meters, Rem Pods, and temperature guns. This is only if you want these explained.
Paranormal activity at any of our locations can never be guaranteed.
Are these nights safe?
We want all our guests to enjoy themselves, and our events and locations are chosen for their reported paranormal activities. Due to their nature, some areas can be excellent places to explore, with caves, tunnels, and attic spaces. We take your well-being very seriously, so we carry full public liability insurance, have a trained first aider on-site and carry out risk assessments before every event. Guests are not obligated to carry out anything they don’t feel comfortable doing. We will do our utmost to find alternative, suitable activities to make each enjoy their night to the fullest.
How do I receive tickets?
We do not mail or supply physical tickets. Instead, we operate a guest list system. As soon as we receive your booking confirmation, we will add your name to that event list. We usually send you an email confirmation within 24-48 hours of booking; please ensure you add your current email address. Please check your spam/junk folders, which sometimes end up there.
Do we have to bring anything with us?
Will I require a torch for the event?
Yes, it's advisable to bring your torch. Please note that we request guests not to wear head torches to avoid accidents and prevent them from blinding other attendees.
If you feel scared during the event, there is a designated safe area that is always well-lit. You can take time out and be escorted to the secure room until you feel ready to continue with the ghost hunt.
Could you please share some recommendations on what to wear for the event?
We suggest that you dress warmly and bring appropriate clothing, as some of the locations can be pretty chilly. It is important to wear sensible footwear as many areas are old and have uneven floors and narrow stairs. Additionally, we suggest bringing your own camping chair as our vigils can last for over an hour.
Your Booked Event
Do all of your locations have toilets available?
Yes, all of our locations have toilet facilities. However, it's important to note that while most of our facilities are well-maintained, some of our areas are abandoned buildings and the toilets may not be up to the same standard. To ensure your own personal hygiene, we recommend bringing hand sanitiser to all of our events.
Is it necessary to print tickets before arriving?
No, you don't have to. We are a ticketless company and there's no need to print any booking confirmation emails. Once you make a booking, you will be added to the guest list with the number of people in your party. Our team will have this list, so when you arrive at the event, simply give your booking name.
Will I get my money back if I cannot attend my event?
Please ensure that you can attend the event date at the time of booking, as Paranormal Eye cannot offer refunds or transfers if you cannot participate. Our locations require advanced payment, and we are responsible for these costs even if you cannot make it to the event. Please note that all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you cannot attend an event, kindly inform our team before the event starts, as they will be expecting your arrival.
If I am unable to attend the event, is it possible to transfer my place to someone else?
Yes, it is possible to transfer your place to another person. However, they must first agree to the terms and conditions and provide their name, address, mobile number, and email address before attending.
I want to change the date of my booking. Is that possible?
I'm sorry, but our policy states that all bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you are unable to attend the event, please get in touch with us to inform us of the cancellation.
If your event needs to be cancelled, we will promptly notify you and provide you with alternate booking dates. In the event that none of the proposed dates work for you, we will arrange a refund for your booking.
If you cannot attend your event, please inform us immediately by email or phone, including on the event day. Our team maintains a guest list and needs to know if you will not be attending to avoid waiting for you unnecessarily.
If you cannot attend, we regret to inform you that we cannot sell your places on our website. However, if your place(s) have been paid for in full, you may transfer them to a third party. Additionally, you may advertise your place(s) for sale on our Facebook Group Page, but please note that they cannot be sold on any other advertising site due to our terms and conditions. Please be aware that paranormal eye assumes no liability for any third-party transactions facilitated through this method, and we will not assist with such transactions.
